ABOUT MARK CONWAY
I'm an Actor and Movement Director. As a multi-disciplinary performer my work I'm comfortable with very physical work. I studied Acting at Rose Bruford, and was nominated for the Spotlight Prize in 2009.
I'm originally from Lancashire, but now living in London.

I recently appeared in Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger (Netflix), and Generation Z (Channel 4).

My first job as a Movement director was on Land of Our Fathers by Chris Urch, which was Winner of Time Out’s Critic’s Choice and Fringe Show of the Year 2013, and shortlisted for Best Production and Best New Play in the Off West End Awards, it subsequently made a West End transfer to Trafalgar Studios and completed a UK tour the following year, both of which I did the movement direction on with new casts.

I also work with Eloise Secker as part of a movement direction duo called Play Dead, the link to our website is below.

As a founder member of Made From Scratch Theatre Company I directed short and long form pieces, held script readings, worked closely with writers in the development of plays and performance poetry, and contributed to the day to day running of the company.
As part of Made From Scratch we produced One Hour Only by Sabrina Mahfouz (dir. Matt Wilde) for it’s run as the inaugural winner of the Old Vic New Voices, IdeasTap and Udderbelly Edinburgh Award 2012.
